MEET OUR FAMILY AT ARMAGEDDON

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL OF US AT ARMAGEDDON

Meet the Alpers:  Shawn, Tricia, Bryce, Bryee and Vasser

Part of the show crew.

The Alpers make their home in Indianapolis.  Shawn is in Human Resources with Rolls Royce and Tricia is a seventh grade US History teacher at Craig Middle School.  Bryce is the big Brother, he turns six in April and goes to Kindergarten now, he loves show and tell.  He has made it clear that he is our future Junior Showman. Bryee turned two  in March. Big Brother doesn't get anything over on her, she's in the middle of it all and like her brother, loves to come to the farm. Tricia is chief in charge of getting our act together.  Poor Vasser has a new puppy to train.  Both kids have spent every summer showing horses.

Meet Annette Haas:  The Bryce & Bryee Minder

Ye gads, an actual lawyer in the family.  She attends as many activities as she can and serves double duty as Bryce & Bryee minder and horse helper.  Annette has PASSED HER BAR AND IS NOW A REAL LAWYER, OH MY!!  She is still with the Attorney General but is no longer in collections.  She has even done seminar presentations to other lawyers on how not to get your cases thrown out because you screwed up.

Meet the Moleskis:  Nick, Michele, Jackson & Elaina

Michele has just taken a promotion as Head Administrator at the Plainwell Nursing home facility.  She has had several job promotions and new locations in the last year.  She's so good at what she does that she keeps getting hired away to bigger and better jobs. Nick still works for the Kalamazoo Gazette.  Jackson is six now and in Kindergarten, he is doing very well and is very creative, his lego creations are impressive.  Elaina is a real animal lover, she and Elizabeth are best buddies.  They make it out to the farm fairly often especially so Nick and Dad can watch football together.

Meet the Mullens:  Alex and significant other Rachel.

The rest of the show crew.  Our summer son.  2005 marked the ninth year Alex helped show Armageddon Clydesdales to their best advantage.  We wish to take this opportunity to thank him for all he has meant to us.  2006 will be a Sabbatical while he attends to the clinical rotations required for Vet school.  We hope he returns to the fold in 2007.

Alex is a for real doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  We attended his hooding this summer (went to OSU and survived).  They are now in Cleveland where he works in a eight man practice, long hours and not near enough money.  It's an all equine practice so the experience is invaluable.  Rachel works in the human resources department of a local bank translating documents into Spanish.  They are both doing well but we don't see them much, in fact they didn't make it home for Christmas this year.  Alex did go with Mom to the World Clydesdale Show.  Just the two of them went with five horses, fortunately we have a lot of good friends that help.

Meet the Myers:  Bret, Jordan and Breckan

Last but not least, the stay at home crew without whom we couldn't go anywhere.

Bret is chief in charge of everything.  He takes care of the old folks all year round, we couldn't do this without him.  Jordan is in the fifth grade, still plays baseball, loves to draw and read.  He and Nana won the Harry Potter costume class for the second year in a row.  Breckan has also started Kindergarten and is doing well.  Dad and Nana went to her publishing party and she had the longest story of all, a budding novelist?  She still goes to ballet but is also going to play softball this summer.  Both kids love the farm and help Dad with chores.

Bonnie: Mom's constant companion left us before Christmas this year.  We miss her terribly.

Elizabeth:  Mom's new baby, she can't replace Bonnie, but she sure helps make mom smile.

Now you've met them all.
