Branch County 4-H Fair!
Coldwater, Michigan
The Branch County Fairgrounds covers approximately 70 acres of land in Coldwater, Michigan and is the hub of activity all year long. From the Car Show/Swap Meet in early May through the County Fair in August, to many rallies and other events, the grounds are always hopping. The activity level was doubled in 1998 due to the completion of a dream, the Dearth Community Center. This beautiful building began with the seed money from Mrs. Dearth and exploded into a huge community venture and has become the number one place in the county for wedding receptions, trade shows, seminars, and many other events. You will find information throughout this site on the events that are scheduled for the grounds, what buildings and spaces are available for rent, and much more.
***Large animal exhibitors who have a camping space reserved may pull their campers onto the fairgrounds starting Friday, August 1st at 4pm.***

Responsibilities Camper Drawing: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Fair Entry Changes Deadline: Friday, July 18,
2008 Creative Writing: All creative writing
projects (poetry, short stories, essays, etc) need to be turned
into the fair office by 4:00pm on Friday, July 25th.
Remember that only notebooks (no posters) will be allowed this
year. You will still meet with the judge on entry day
during your club's assigned entry time.
Premium Statements must be turned into the Fair Office no later
than 4pm on July 3rd!
Entry forms must be turned into the Fair Office no later than 4pm
on July 3rd
There will be a workshop for King and Queen forms on May 19 at 7pm @
MSUE
Doors open at 7:00pm, drawing at 7:30pm at Dearth Center.
Must be exhibiting a large animal at the fair to be eligible for
a camping space during Fair week
