4-H Royalty Code of Conduct

As a 4-H/FFA member it is very important that you realize that a position on the Court is one of honor and privilege.  If you are chosen to represent Branch County 4-H Fair as Royalty, you will be expected to abide by this code of conduct.  Please review, sign and return with your completed application.

For this reason certain guidelines have been established:

1.  Any royalty participant, court member, king or queen that is caught in the act of theft or vandalism, or caught with illegal drugs, alcohol or tobacco, or who is involved in other such offenses, may be asked to step down from their position (King, Queen or Court)

During the Fair:

1.                  The above statement is especially enforced during the fair.  Any violation of this statement during the fair may be grounds for dismissal from the Court or the King/Queen position.

2.                  Please dress appropriately.  No mid-drifts!

3.                  Your behavior is modeled by others.  If inappropriate behavior is reported to any Fair Board member or King/Queen committee member, you will be asked to do community service during fair week or the following year.

King, Queen and Court are expected to participate in many activities before, during and after the fair.  By signing this form, I agree to participate in the events listed on the “King, Queen & Court Events Responsibility” sheet.  I have read, I understand and I agree to abide by the statements and rules above:
